Spiritual Tours

Italy, home of Catholicism, is a land bursting with historical
churches and sites of religious importance. Come with me on a tour
of Emilia Romagna’s spiritual side as we visit a historic Abbey,
tour hilltop monasteries, listen to the peaceful sound of chanting
monks, sleep in restored convents and admire the handful of Romanesque
churches that dot the Italian countryside

War II Tours
The Gothic Line, the German’s last line of defense, cut straight
through the core of Emilia Romagna. The
Germans fought fiercely, defending every
hill and bridge against the
advancing allied forces. Because of that there are many war
cemeteries and monuments scattered through out the countryside. I
would be honored to design a tour for anyone wishing to visit these
hallowed grounds.
Food and Wine Tour
Emilia Romagna is known as the gastronomic
capital of Italy. Here you will find some of the best dishes
in the entire country. Let me design a mouth-watering tour filled
with incredible food and impeccable wine. We can visit cities such as
Parma where Italy’s beloved prosciutto and parmigiano
cheese are made. Perhaps you will want to stop in Modena to sample
its world famous balsamic vinegar before driving south to the hills of
Brisighella, a sleepy village known to have the best olive oil in the
region. All of these stops can include tours of the factories with
samples of the products. Interested in vino? We can pay a
visit to Emilia Romagna’s regional wine library where there are over
700 different types of wine to peruse. Maybe you would even like to
include a few tours of wineries in your itinerary. Whatever your
taste, we can design a tour that will leave you wanting a second
helping.
