Nine Day Tour
Spend nine days with
us exploring the best of Emilia Romagna,
from the largest
cities to the smallest, Italian villages.

Our nine
day tour offers guests an opportunity to enjoy all the wonderful
things that Emilia Romagna had to offer. Our travels will take us to the
cities of Bologna, Ravenna, Ferrara, and Faenza. We will also
have plenty of time to explore places off of the beaten path, like the
fishing village of Comacchio, the medieval hill town of
Brisighella, the historic Abbey of Pomposa, and tiny, art town
of Dozza.

These planned activities will be combined
with ample free time. You will have the opportunity to
explore local shops, visit museums that are
not included in the walking tours, sit at an outdoor cafe,
peruse art galleries, or enjoy a
gelato while people-watching in the main square.
Our accommodations
will be in elegant
hotels, located in the historic
center of the cities we visit. We will also spend two nights at
a charming
farmhouse in the hills of Faenza. You will be given maps of
every
city and
my recommendations on where to eat and what to see during your
free time. I will always be on hand to offer optional actives
or to join you for a meal if you don’t feel like venturing out
alone.
Emilia
Romagna is famous around the world for its food and is
considered to be the gastronomic capital of Italy. Its no
wonder as it is home to Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, prosciutto
and balsamic vinegar. With nine days to spend, we will have
plenty of time to enjoy the quality (and quantity) of Emilia
Romagna's famous dishes. Only restaurants serving
local cuisine were chosen in
order to provide guests with a taste of the
foods each city is famous for. All meals
mentioned in the itinerary include
mineral water, local wine and Italian-style
coffee.
A driver with a private van has been hired to
take us to our destinations. There will be no
jumping on public buses or fighting your way through a crowed
train station; just relax in our private van and enjoy the views
of the Italian countryside as they pass by
your window.

dazzling mosaics of Ravenna to the simplicity of a rustic farm house, this tour
offers you an opportunity to see the many sides of authentic Italy.
